Our Story So Far
Rebecca and Sue Gornall, a mother and daughter team that decided to improve the world of training. I (Rebecca) was diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age. Due to this, I struggled during school to maintain focus, and I found a lack of support throughout secondary school, college and university to accommodate my learning needs. I found my own way of overcoming these struggles but always felt I would never achieve my full potential because of this. I felt held back and misunderstood. When entering the working world, I was met with various e-learning websites that once again did not accommodate my needs.
When Covid-19 hit, my career in events management was swept from under my feet; I worked a variety of different jobs but never truly found my passion. One day, I took a leap of faith and became a Self-employed occupational trainer. I finally found my passion.
I still face daily struggles with courses not accommodating the needs of so many people. Therefore, I decided to make a change and, with the guidance of my wonderful mum, create a company that supports the needs for all. We have been working together with our family friends James & Sarah, who are helping build our dream one code at a time.
We run face-to-face sessions that span across the entire south of the country, including first aid at work, emergency first aid at work, paediatrics, basic life support and AED training, manual handling and mental health first aid. We are also building our catalogue of e-learning courses that will be available across the nation to help businesses achieve everything they set out to achieve.
Here at Clued-Up.training we aim to be different; we want to break down the barriers that thousands of employees face in the workplace. Our customers will always be our priority, finding new and exciting ways to learn for those like myself who struggled with the generic learning format.
